Who would've thought scrapbooking and science could be related, well....THEY CAN!!!! How you ask, well I've had so much fun over the past few weeks working with my cousin on her science fair project. She came to me asking for help decorating her board. She picked the font, border, and the other little things on it. I'm super proud of her and her project. I'm waiting for final pictures of her project board, but for now I have what we started with and I'm so excited I had to post all about it. I know she's getting an A on this one and even if she doesn't her board looks super cute!!!
The Silhouette got a workout with this project. Each one of those popcorn peices was printed and then cut. I also inked the edges with Close To My Heart Sunny Yellow ink. Unfortunately it's been discontinued. The font is called Porky's and can be downloaded from FontSpace for free. I think I'll be using this one all the time, I love it!!! I also liked the look since it's not straight it reminded me of how popcorn looks in a bucket. The popcorn buckets were also cut with the Silhouette. It's an image from the Silhouette store. There is a print and cut one as well, but I didn't care for it as much as the regular cut one. It was so much fun helping her with her project. I even helped test the popcorn, that might have the second best part. I can't wait to help her with her next assignment. It's always nice to do something else with all the scrapbooking goodies that I buy.
