Design Team Time!!!

WOOHOO DESIGN TEAM TIME!!! I decided to incorporate the Create Your Classroom stamps into a Halloween invitation and party game.  You can't have  a party with no games!

The front of this is all cut using the Silhouette.  The sentiment is from the Create Your Classroom Back to School stamp set.

I used the CYC Back to School stamp set for the background and the invitation title.  The loose leaf paper look came from the Silhouette, I used the print and cut feature.  The spider web border is from a Martha Stewart double border punch.  The little bat is the Stampin Up Bitty Bat punch.

So now for a fun game to play.  Who doesn't love to shout BINGO, even if it's only for bragging rights.  No harm in a little extra Halloween fun with a Halloween Bingo game.  The bingo board is from Silhouette.  I used the print and cut feature.  They have quite a few bingo boards available, back school, halloween, fall etc.  It's so easy to print and cut, I love it!! The bats are the same Stampin Up Bitty Bat punch from Stampin Up that's on the inside of the invitation.  The bingo dotters are the pictures that are available on the CYC Back to School stamp set.  Each one was stamped and colored with Copic markers and then punched with a circle punch.

Long Weekend (so is this post)

Gotta love a long weekend.  So it's Columbas Day weekend for me.  I love the extra few days to be crafty!! I've had so much fun and done so much shopping in the process.  I found a new scrapbook store in Leonardtown, MD. The Scrapbook Nook, is FABULOUS!!!!  It's in this little shop called Cecil's Old Mill.  It's an old mill here in southern MD that has been turned into a crafty haven.  There is everything in there from scrapbooking to crochet, it's just super cute.  Around here it's hard to find a lot of the nice stamps that you see on online so I do a lot of online shopping, now with the Scrapbook Nook being around I'll be sure to check with them before I buy.  It's worth the drive to support my local scrapbook store.  I picked up a few sheets of the new Doodlebug Halloween paper, a really cute Girlfriends stamp by Art Impressions.  You can't beat something cutsey about coffee and caffine.  That's what us ladies love!! I also grabbed a couple of cute stamps for winter by Darcies.  They even had copic paper!!!! I was so excited to see it.  I usually drive into VA for that or I order it.  I caught a good sale at Michaels today too.  I picked up a Halloween punch, more Halloween paper, I fell in love with the Martha Stewart Halloween line and it was all 40% off today.  Now on to the craftyness.....

This stamp is from Inkadinkado's Trick or Treat stamp set.  I bought it at Michaels.  I colored it with Copic Markers.  The edges were inked with Buttercup Ink from Close To My Heart.  I cut the tree using the Silhouette.  The pattered paper is from Martha Stewart's Haunted Photo Mat. The setiments came from the Pink Stamper Set Spookalicious.  The little things that look like brads are my new favorite thing, CANDI.  I love it!!! It's made by the UK company, Craftwork. 

I used the Stampedous Kitty Candy Kiddo and colored her with Copic markers.  Her dress is paper peiced.  All the patterend papers came from the Martha Stewart Haunted Photo Mat pack.  I used the Spellbinders Big Scalloped Squares to cut her out and inked the edges with Tim Holtz Distress Ink in Spiced Marmalade. The sentiments are from the My Creative Time Treats for my Sweet Stamp set.  I used the Martha Stewart Spiderweb Deep Edge Trim Punch.

I'm hoping to get more cards done this weekend and maybe even start a few scrapbook pages.  There are going to be a few happy little kids this Halloween when they received these.  I had so much fun making them.  It's always fun to make a little something from the heart for the people you love.
