Final Create Your Classroom Design Team Project

So my design team term with Create Your Classroom has ended.  What a great ride this has been.  My first design team and with such a great group of inspirational ladies.  So here goes nothing -

The bag is a standard size ziploc bag.  The cardstock is a retired Stampin Up color.  I cut it at 6 inches and folded it in half so it's 6x3.  I embossed that with a Silhouette Texture Plate.  The paper on top is from the Echo Park 6x6 This and That Graceful paper pad.  I used the Cricut Teddy Bears on Parade cartridge to cut the Cupid Teddy Bear and the Simply Charmed Cricut Cartridge to cut the hearts.  I inked the hearts with Close to My Heart Blush Mini Pigment Ink and used the Momento Tear Drop Coco ink for the CYC Sentiment Learning is the Key from the CYC Back to School stamp set. 

I'm not sure I'd give any child that many M&Ms and one time, but making the treat bag was so much fun!! Happy candy eating and scrapping :-)

Updates!!!

A few updates.  I've updated pictures from my design team projects to my Facebook.  I also wanted to let everyone know that I'm on Pinterest.  Here's a link to my board - http://pinterest.com/love122482/my-creations/. They CYC Design Team is ready for fall and winter

Sorry for the delay, but here is this month's CYC Design Team project.  This time I did a 12x12 layout.  Our challenge this month was a Winter or Fall project using the CYC Back to school stamp set. The idea came from my best friend.  She always takes her kids to the library to get books so I came wup with Winter Storytime. 

For this project I used 12x12 white cardstock. The silhouette cut the Winter title and the snowflakes on the 2nd page, Thickers were used for Storytime.  The small snowflakes came from a Martha Stewart and Creative Memories punches.  I used the Fall into a Good Book CYC stamp on the large snowflake on the 2nd page and the mat for the picture on the first page. The sparkles all came from silver stickles. The large snowflack on the 2nd page is really 2 snoflakes on top of each other.  I decided to cut two of them stickle them both and then pop dot one on the top for extra dimension.

Design Team Time!!!

WOOHOO DESIGN TEAM TIME!!! I decided to incorporate the Create Your Classroom stamps into a Halloween invitation and party game.  You can't have  a party with no games!

The front of this is all cut using the Silhouette.  The sentiment is from the Create Your Classroom Back to School stamp set.

I used the CYC Back to School stamp set for the background and the invitation title.  The loose leaf paper look came from the Silhouette, I used the print and cut feature.  The spider web border is from a Martha Stewart double border punch.  The little bat is the Stampin Up Bitty Bat punch.

So now for a fun game to play.  Who doesn't love to shout BINGO, even if it's only for bragging rights.  No harm in a little extra Halloween fun with a Halloween Bingo game.  The bingo board is from Silhouette.  I used the print and cut feature.  They have quite a few bingo boards available, back school, halloween, fall etc.  It's so easy to print and cut, I love it!! The bats are the same Stampin Up Bitty Bat punch from Stampin Up that's on the inside of the invitation.  The bingo dotters are the pictures that are available on the CYC Back to School stamp set.  Each one was stamped and colored with Copic markers and then punched with a circle punch.

October Design Team Project

Woohoo!!! It's Design Team Time!!  The back to school stamp set from CYC (Create Your Classroom) is so versatile.  This week I made an 8x8 page layout.  One of my favorite things to do in the fall is make apple pies.  Yes, I do make mine from scratch, so that involves apple picking, hence today's project.  I used the CYC sentiment, You're the Apple of My Eye, for my page.  Everything on the two page spread was cut with the Silhouette. The fence on the second page was cut with the Sizzix fence die.  The photo mats are from Creative Memories, but both sets are retired now.  Hope you enjoy this layout.   

 

First Design Team project and Create your Classroom stamp release!!!!

WOOHOO!!! IT'S STAMP RELEASE DAY!!!! So everyone here's a great stamp to welcome your kiddos back to the books and the school routine.  Got to love these stamps they're a super super cute and are so versitile.  Check out the complete release and video on the  Create Your Classroom Blog.

For my design team project I created a pencil box.  It holds mechanical pencils since they're my favorite.  I cut the box using the new Cricut Artiste Cricut Catridge.  Love this cartridge it has a ton of 3-D shapes and instructions on how to put them together.  The paper is Bazzil Cardstock.  I stamped the image with Tuxedo Black Momento Ink and I colored it in with copic markers.  I use George Pacific cardstock from Walmart, but I will warn you it does bleed past the ink so be very careful when coloring close to the edge of your image. I used the spellbinders large and small labels and I stamped the sentiment with Danube Blue by Momento. 

OFFICIAL ANNOUCEMENT

Ok, so it's been officially announced.  I MADE THE CREATE YOUR CLASSROOM DESIGN TEAM!!!!  I'm so supere excited to be spending the next 6 months creating great projects with some great ladies!! I can't wait to see all the stuff we come up with.  WOOHOO!!!! MY FIRST DESIGN TEAM!!!
